Having been injured for 9 months I wanted to get back to running as I was training for an upcoming marathon. Bea created a completely bespoke training plan, which focused on rehabilitation & strengthening which was also flexible. We met every 2 weeks for strength training at the studio whilst being coached online for the rest of the time. Bea would assess my performance and make recommendation regarding speed work etc. I completed my marathon injury free and have not felt as fit and strong in years. Can only recommend!

I have been working with Bea both in the online group session and on a 1to1 basis online. She is brilliant. Her strength & conditioning sessions made a real difference to my running. I recently did my longest distance race ever with no ill effects, whereas near the same distance has left me hobbling for days with back pain in the past. I am not a natural athlete and got a personal trainer sort of by accident. I’ve been with Beatrice for 9 months and she has been quietly encouraging me towards lifting weights, getting stronger and has even got me running. Like many overweight, middle-aged people, I have a dodgy back and was worried that I’d hurt myself by overdoing the exercise. However, it is reassuring that Beatrice has a background in chiropractic medicine. I know my back is in good hands. She explains what exercises I have to do, why and what muscles are working.

I started powerlifting training with Bea in December after a year out due to ill health. I wanted to get more structure into my training and have someone to push me further and help me with diet and form. Bea has been a great help and has pushed me to lift heavier and eat healthier. I have been attending Bea one to one PT sessions for 11 months now. I approached her after noticing a few issues while I was running. I also mention to her that I cannot do lunge exercises. I used to look at everybody in the gym doing them so easy and wondering why I cannot do them. Bea made a promise me that these issues will be fixed. Within a few weeks I notice the difference, I was doing exercise that I could not do before which include lunges, squat etc. During the 11 month I seen so much improvement, the body strength, core and balance had improved so much. I am also feeling a lot stronger, running longer distances without any of the niggly issues I was having 11 months ago and feel more confident that I will able to get back to into running marathons again. Thank you to Bea for getting me back on track with my running. She originally started helping me with building leg strength for my running and has now helped update my workouts for a more full-body routine. I was coming back from 6 months of no running due to plantar fasciitis and wanted a running goal to focus on that was about trying something new and not just about speed.

Bea helped me prepare and set goals for my first half marathon. Her training meant we built up slowly and focused on staying fit and healthy, even when I was ill or had a bike accident (and reassuring me that rest days are important too)! The flexibility involved in the plan and the fact that she was always willing to help sort out any problems I had made me confident I was still completing solid sessions, even when events out of my control affected training.

I really enjoyed the strength elements of the plan too, which complemented the running and meant I stayed injury free! It was all tailored to my injury history and focused on my weaknesses.

My plan and her belief in me meant I beat my target time of 1.35 by almost 2 minutes! I would recommend working with Bea to anyone that wants to improve or have a structured plan to work to! Thank you!!

Beatrice has been my coach for the last few months, I particularly enjoy the flexibility of remote coaching because you can adjust session timings when work times vary. She is very engaging and intuitive. Bea has brilliant skills for weight training supporting my racing and running; her knowledge of developing the performances of older female athletes has been invaluable to me.
