Frequently asked questions
I DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO A GYM
That is not a problem at all. I work with a variety of clients who don’t have access to a gym and your plan will simply be based on what equipment you have available.
I can offer advice on what equipment may be useful to have and how heavy they should be.
where (what) are your prices?
Prices do vary depending on
Day and Time of session
In person or on Zoom
What services we decide together you will benefit from
Length of your plan
For one off consultations prices are dependent on time used for call, research and follow up report
Initial consultations before arranging sessions or online coaching are free as we explore your goals
i want to train with you 1to1 but don’t live close enough
This is not a problem. We can arrange either regular or occasional virtual training sessions.
Some of my clients do these at home, in their garage or shed or in their gym even.
My experience over the last 2 years has been that these sessions can be very effective
why can’t you just write me a plan?
All my training plans are bespoke and take a variety of details into account (goals, time available, equipment available, stress outside training, previous training experience, injury and health history etc).
If you want a more generic plan these can easily be found online and often for free and that is absolutely fine as that works for many
The time I invest into just writing a training plan would never be reflected in its cost to you and I simply want to work with my clients more closely
can you train me and my friend(s)
I can train small groups up to 3 in one of the training studios available.
1 to 2 sessions are possible
Larger groups I can only train on Zoom
2 regular Zoom sessions currently available
Tue and Thu: 6:30 and 8:00am both days (30min only)
what is your nutrition approach?
I want to enable my clients to find a sustainable approach and this usually works through education
We will explore various options you have and this also depends on your goals, weigh loss, performance or getting stronger (gaining muscle) or becoming leaner.
Overall I prefer to not eliminate entire food groups or other nutrition approaches that are not compatible with your social and family life as they are not sustainable long term.
Short term tracking of calories may be appropriate for some, so is using a food diary.
I do NOT provide meal plans, again as they are not sustainable long term
