I was very apprehensive about joining the gym, it hadn’t been a positive experience for me in the past.
I was recovering from surgery and looking to help get strength back and build up fitness levels.
I was lucky enough to meet Beatrice, who was able to understand my situation, as a, dare I say it, “mature” woman and build a personal plan to achieve my goals.

During the time that I’ve been working with Beatrice I’ve PB’d at 5km, 10km & Marathon race distances, which I think is the best testament you can give to a running coach! I still have my A race to come, my first 50 mile ultra, but three weeks out, under Beatrice’s guidance, I feel confident that I am ready.
In addition to the run coaching Beatrice is a qualified Personal Trainer & I have been working with her on a strength & conditioning program designed to complement my running schedule & strengthen the key muscle groups that are used in running. I put a lot of my running success over the past few months down to the strengthening work; I am currently the strongest I’ve ever been. Under Beatrice’s guidance I ran less miles training for my most recent marathon than I have done previously but performed significantly better than I have done in the past.
For key races & specific training goals, I highly recommend Beatrice for both run coaching & PT! It’s been fantastic having a personalised service & training designed especially for me!

I'm training for the London Marathon and I've fully trusted every word of advice and every exercise. I'm so confident that Bea knows how to help me improve with her own running experience, and my god I've seen the results!!! I've smashed my 5K, 10K and Half Marathon PBs, and I can not wait to see my marathon time! Bea has not only given me confidence but I can feel the difference in my legs, they are stronger than ever before and helping me run better. I started powerlifting training with Bea in December after a year out due to ill health. I wanted to get more structure into my training and have someone to push me further and help me with diet and form. Bea has been a great help and has pushed me to lift heavier and eat healthier. Bea's background has also helped to improve my flexibility and point out my weaker areas and we've targeted these for improvements.
I'm already lifting heavy again and physically I can see the benefits. Can't wait to compete and see how far I can go! Thanks Bea!

I started working with Bea when I felt I was in a cycle of injuries - stopping and starting with my running. I got in contact because of Bea's track record with running, and it paid off. I built strength, have remained injury free and finished the year with PBs in all distances. I'm not much of a gym person, but Bea has also developed me a plan so I'm doing proper strength workouts on my own for the first time. I am not a natural athlete and got a personal trainer sort of by accident. I’ve been with Beatrice for 9 months and she has been quietly encouraging me towards lifting weights, getting stronger and has even got me running. Like many overweight, middle-aged people, I have a dodgy back and was worried that I’d hurt myself by overdoing the exercise. However, it is reassuring that Beatrice has a background in chiropractic medicine. I know my back is in good hands. She explains what exercises I have to do, why and what muscles are working.
In the past few months, to my surprise, I’ve enjoyed lifting weights and seeing my body change for the good. I have recommended Beatrice to other unfit middle aged people who need the sort of encouragement I have had from Beatrice.

Beatrice is an incredible coach who has helped me in improving my strength, running training and diet. I used to be intimidating by weight training but it has swiftly become one of my favourite things and I love how much stronger and healthier I am. Ultimately though Beatrice has been instrumental to my completing a half marathon with a 10 minute improvement on my PB and I am now working with her towards completing my first marathon. She creates a programme that is unique to you and your abilities and I actually enjoy going to the gym. Highly recommended.
