I had worked with Bea online following a prior injury & she helped me get back running. I did the usual runner thing of falling out of the habit of continuing to strength train, so I was determined this time to work with her in person to get fit and strong again but also to keep it going. Working in person gave me the motivation I needed and ensured I was doing the exercises right. The sessions were challenging but I left feeling good afterwards, and each week I could see progress as the strength, flexibility and balance improved. I started training with Bea in 2019 I enjoyed loads of activities in the gym & particularly enjoyed boxing! I was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis in May 2021 and moved to on line zoom sessions due to Covid stopping gym participation. I also had a nasty fall in my home where I damaged my knee quite badly. Bea has always been a wonderful trainer who has consistently adapted the training I am able to do, bearing in mind my physical limitations. I had taken a long break from my regular online strength and conditioning classes with Bea as I had a busy summer and was focusing on other things. However, over time I noticed how much the lack of these sessions impacted on my running. I didn't feel as strong and suffered loss of endurance whilst running. I requested a couple of 1to1 sessions, these were mostly needed as a refresher and so Bea could check my form and technique and offer advice on how to slowly build my endurance back up. I found these sessions incredibly useful and have now re-joined the weekly online S&C class confident that I am using the correct form. Wanting to incorporate strength training into my fitness routine and having no idea where to begin, I had an intensive series of 1-1 PT sessions with Bea as I knew it was imperative to get the techniques right and a suitable bespoke programme. After a couple of months I was able to go away and work on the programme she set me via her coaching app. Bea is able to keep track and regular contact via the app and we have another 1-1 session every six weeks or so to review goals and progress and to update the programme. While I was generally fit before, I was new to strength training and I have certainly found the right trainer with Bea. She has extensive knowledge, broad experience and is extremely professional and personable. I feel in good hands and would highly recommend her regardless of your current age, ability or fitness goals.

I first contacted Bea about starting personal training after suffering with back problems during lockdown. My goal was to get moving and get strong. I've always struggled to stick to gym programmes because I found them dull and repetitive. With Bea, sessions have been fun and engaging and she got me doing things I'd never considered doing before. I never saw myself as a weights person but now I love deadlifting!

In the last year I managed to sprain my ankle and break my toe. Bea adjusted our sessions to work on what I could still do. And once the injuries started to heal, she gradually built in movements to help me rehab back to full strength.
